We just completed the construction of a new home in Hobe Sound.  Robert with Selective Land Clearing was the first subcontractor on site and stayed with us through completion.  Robert not only cleared the lot and hauled away debris, he also coordinated the trucking of the engineered fill, spreading, and compacting.  Later in the project, he returned to provide the rough grade as well as the final grade, just before completion.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed working with Robert.  He was dependable, consistent, and a master with machinery.  It was easy to see that had had deep experience in his trade.  As an owner/builder it was important to us to actually know who was performing the work and have an easy relationship.  That is one of the benefits with Selective Land, Robert is onsite and hands-on.  That makes Selective Land different from many local firms that just send out a piece of equipment and an operator.

I have used Selective Land Clearing for a number of projects from land clearing, road removal and demolition of a house and garage.

The most notable project was when we decided to build a house on land in the old Jensen pineapple farm area. First, SLC came in and cleared all the exotic trees and shrubs and left standing all native vegetation. SLC is expert at identifying and protecting native animal species and in addition to plants. 

Next, after we located the house, SLC came in and moved 43 large Sabal palm trees. Some of these trees were 25 feet tall. Not only did SLC move the trees, it placed them in a natural yet artful way so that even the fans from tree to tree appear like they grew ups that way.

We finished the house in January 2019 and are grateful that we have a natural setting and have those trees to enjoy.
